While true, you'll typically find that conservatives are far more willing to take on "their own side" when wrong than liberals are. In fact, the whole Tea (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement started in opposition to the Bush stimulus package garbage. He was a Republican, but conservatives still rose up in opposition to him because he was wrong. Funny how that never happened with the liberals when Son of Stimulus (a.k.a. the Porkulus bill) came out from the Democrats, threatening over 1 TRILLION dollars in new spending.
