Re: Thomas Weisser Article IBC Perspectives

I see no quotes or any documentation at all. But it is interesting. Let's see the documentation. If he were in San Diego in 1920, where did he worship ? Did he fellowship with other Oneness churches ?

Re: Thomas Weisser Article IBC Perspectives

The Mexican Apostolic Assembly date their founding to 1906 Azusa. They do mention Joseph Stewart, but make no mention to prior to 1906.

But the report I just read gave 1893 as the date when Stewart heard the Oneness message, but no documentation or quotes are given.

Interesting.

Re: Thomas Weisser Article IBC Perspectives

Sorry dear Brothers, been busy. Back now.

For my person, I think it is an interesting article in that if true it predates the idea of a restored doctrine in the early 1900's.

I am researching some other resources haveing come on some older manuscripts into Mexico and other countries as well.

Also in Ireland there appears to be evidence in the early 1800's of a extensive teachings of Acts 2:38 as the new Birth message. I will try to copy and post these as I can.

Extensive? Really? Ask yourself if the single way to heaven was fulfillment of Acts 2:38 throughout the centuries then how is it but a thread of evidence in church history? That's a lot of doomed people until it was supposedly resurrected in the early 20th century. I can understand current Acts 2:38 historians wanting justification given the access we have among ourselves to question such a claim. They did a pretty good job revising the two viewpoints of the merger in its day however.
