Nobody took Cruz down. Cruz lacks charisma. I liked him a lot, but the truth of the matter is you've got to have some kind of appeal to the masses that judge first and listen later. It's frustrating. I think it's awful that most voters are shallow and ill informed. Ted comes across wonky. Nerdy. Kind of negative. Trump for all of the cheeto puff comments and comb over jokes---had a brilliant marketing scheme: Make America Great Again. One of the best campaign slogans of all time.
I really would prefer Cruz as president. But he just didn't deliver when given the chance. No one spoke to the common man like Trump. Even uber liberal Michael Moore admitted that. Actually predicted 5 months ago DT would win.
