ok, but in this light how do you feel when i tell you that you are still lost, and going to hell? and that i can "prove" it to any reader's and your satisfaction?

I'd say go ahead, let's see the proof.

so, to put that another way, you dismiss the "you are lost" part, right?
And, to dramatize a bit, if you initially dismiss it, and after doing so i insist once again that you are lost--and we are for the sake of argument face to face here, in a group discussion, let's say--and going to hell if you do not come to understand "accepting Christ" the way i do, what is going to be your attitude then? Truthfully. Surrounded by peers, and being informed for a second time that you are going to hell, in no uncertain terms.

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!
Thomas Jefferson said it well:
"If the people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny."

Perhaps the same response the Apostle Peter would give to Simon the sorcerer, or the Apostle John would give to Diotrophes, or Paul would give to the Judaizers.
You saying someone is lost or that they need to repent has no credibility, because you deny the necessity of repentance and the exclusivity of salvation in Christ alone.

Re: The UPC is a dying movement!
well, but that is just an opinion, yours, that i might argue by, say, pointing out that i follow the Word of Christ, as best i know how, unlike the sorcerer guy or the greek guy, who i don't think you could argue ever expressed that faith, or told Peter et al that they were lost. So this ends up being a way to justify oneself, and avoid answering the question to boot, or at the very least a way to dismiss the question out of hand, it seems. Further proof might be seen by E's answer to my question, put the second time, wherein i once again provided an out below, rather than posing the question all by itself. Iow an honest answer to my question cannot be obtained, because it would illuminate the error, just as an unbiased poll could not be posted.

If you say I am lost, and can prove it, then do it.
