Toxic Donald Trump

Conservative icon Michael Grebe drops delegate slot because of Trump
"I declined to go to Cleveland and I gave up my delegate slot because I do not want to be part of a process which results in the nomination of Donald Trump," Grebe wrote in an email to the Journal Sentinel. He did not elaborate.
Grebe is not the only Wisconsin Republican who is skipping the convention because of Trump...

NOPE. He insulted Ted Cruz, his wife, his father amongst all the other ugly, classless junk he has said and done.
He doesn't get a pass on his flip-flopping from me. Romney didn't get a pass and neither should Trump. They forced Romney to cough up his tax returns, but they are not forcing Trump to do anything. NOPE.

Who says that Trump won't pull this off? The media is sure giving him billions in advertising while they talk about all that Hillary is spending.
I'd like to know what Trump and Bill Clinton talked about before Trump announced his presidency.

Let them chose Mike Pence. He'd be a great VP for Trump since did so well caving on the religious freedom act. He won't mind that Trump can't pronounce the books of the Bible.

Re: Unbound: The Conscience of a Republican Delega
Steve Deace insider information. Sounds like what I am getting as well.
Quote:
Some election info from little birdies the past few days.
WARNING: if you're not an adult capable of hearing information that doesn't scratch your itching ears, stop reading now.
For the rest of you...
Multiple little birdies have told me the Netanyahu administration doesn't care for either choice, but if forced to choose thinks Hillary is better for Israel. Apparently she has a better relationship with them than either Kerry or Obama (admittedly that's not saying much), and they view Trump as "unstable." The final straw apparently is Trump's top adviser Paul Manafort, whose top two clients prior to Trump were Putin and Pakistan. Neither of which creates warm fuzzies in Tel Aviv.
Little birdies connected with various big name conservative groups doing high-dollar polling of the electoral college map told me Trump has "maybe a 10% chance to actually win" when you look at the numbers. And that includes Trump becoming the first Republican in almost 30 years to win Pennsylvania.
"His favorables there are pretty good," these little birdies said. "And I think Ohio is very winnable, too. But his numbers in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia are too bad to make a difference. Florida is basically gone, and that could hurt Rubio's tough re-elect as well. Plus, we're going to have to fight to win states we usually count on like Arizona and Georgia."
Reports of Trump being down to Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, or Mike Pence as potential running mates didn't inspire any of my little birdies. One little birdie told me "I don't know how Trump goes out there with Pence after what he did to religious liberty in his state (back in 2013)."
Another said: "Of those choices, Newt is absolutely the best one, but then you run into the six-wives ticket. Hillary will turn the table on us from the 1990s, when we went after her husband for lying under oath about his affair, and then Newt and Bob Livingstone had to resign as Speakers for also having affairs. And then the next speaker was Denny Hastert, who is a proven pedophile. This whole thing is a freaking mess."
Regarding the potential of a delegate revolt, there's a lot of conflicting information out there. But since a lot of you keep asking me about this, as of today I'd say its 50-50 some sort of revolt is attempted. And about a 30% chance it is successful.
Finally, my little birdies are pretty divided on a delegate revolt. Some think it's a bad idea and the nominee should be supported instead. Some think it's a good idea. And some think a better idea is just letting this thing run its course and letting the "Trump Cult" phenomenon have its tantrum, learn its lesson in November, and then we can all move on.
