This 30 minute speech by Trump in Arizona is a picture perfect demonstration of why and how Trump would DEVASTATE any opposition in a genuinely free and honest election. The guy is EXACTLY what MILLIONS of fed up Americans want.

Which is incredibly dangerous, BTW...

This claim by Trump that he's the one got people talking about illegal immigration is just not true. Illegal immigration has been talked about during every election, and has been highlighted the past couple years due to obama's illegal executive order.

Trump absolutely blows away the competition in his ability to resonate with people. Cruz comes across as just another slimy politician. Not saying he is - or isn't - just that Cruz comes across that way. Whiny voice, condescending smirk, "weasel eyes" (lol @ Savage)...

Cruz is the kind of kid we used to beat up and haze in high school.

Trump however is vastly different. He literally oozes confidence. Politicians come across as WEAK. Trump does not.

Whereas Cruz is the kid we all used to haze endlessly in school, the typical "hall monitor" nerd type, Trump is the kid who always threw the best and biggest keg parties - with his parents' knowledge, even.

Remember back in high school? Some kids just had "it", the coolness factor, and the rest just didn't. That's Trump.

He has "it" that the others don't, and therefore the guy is massively popular.

As for his actual actions in office... meh, I think every single candidate is a lying, hypocritical snake. Maybe I'm just jaded. (!)

But Trump has a charismatic appeal nobody else on the stage has. People see Trump, and actually listen to him, and they all go "Well, it's about time!"

Exactly right. His perceived strength and confidence is the perfect outlet for people to channel their anger and frustration and thus their support. They look to Trump as the one to smack the Chinese, the illegals, Wall Street, the rhinos in Washington and all the terrorists. This has created a campaign built on emotions with little or no substance.
