IIRC, Copeland is pushing Evangelicals to be bffs with the Holy Catholic Church again.

I believe that Evangelicals all across this country are concerned with religious freedom. That would include Copeland's right to his freedom, and us ours.
Having said that, aside from not agreeing with Copeland's brand of religion, it would do to note the words of Ted Cruz's father in the video. For in what he says in the video, he displays a profound view of putting all of his trust in Jesus Christ for Ted's candidacy.
He gives an account of a prayer meeting they have and what comes from Heidi's mouth? "Seek my face, not my hand." They acknowledge it is more important to seek the face of God rather than looking for favor, which gets into the prosperity doctrine. That is encouraging to me to see people who first and foremost realize the importance of seeking the face of God.
“Seek my face, not my hand. It was as a cloud of the Holy Spirit filled that room and all of a sudden we were all worshipping, and the words that came out of Ted’s mouth were, ‘ Here I am Lord, use me. Let your will be done. Here am I Lord.’ It was total brokenness and I believe that God has raised him up for such a time as this.”
His testimony continues to point to God and not himself or Ted Cruz.
I wouldn't doubt at this prayer meeting Ted and company would view God using him in some way. Perhaps it is for President. We shall see. He has certainly fought for our rights as Americans and has a profound love of the US Constitution and all it entails.
