The pastor both taught about a one hour lesson after singing, testimonies, etc then they changed the order of the service with more singing, testifying, etc and then he preached for an hour. I think we left sometime between one and two pm. Five hour church was not something I like or was used to. I kept dozing off in the middle of the second one hour lesson / sermon from NPU.
And what girl were you there for?

CC1,

NPU is so long winded...I did forget that I did walk out of that church after listening to him prech for two hours and he was still going strong. I don't know of many preachers I would miss my lunch for...he isn't one of them.

Blessings, Rhoni

The first time I went to Memphis was to visit Sharon (Goff) Graham's family in 1975. We ate at the Mark Twain, but I didn't know what an institution in the city it was until years later when we moved to Memphis. It closed shortly after we moved there.

No, she didn't even have her shoes on when I first walked in! LOL! She took my ring and they are sending it off to be fixed.
