Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
So, henchman, Karl Rove is on Fox News last night commenting on GWB statements.
Rove flat out lied, mischaracterizing Cruz's statements about SCOTUS appointees. Cruz talked about how appointees without paper trails always disappoint.

Mark Levin talks about George W. Bush criticizing Senator Ted Cruz
His point is that GWB has been quiet until now when he comes out to criticize Cruz, but didn't have time to come out and speak about the other issues that are destroying our country.

Cruz's response was pure class.

Frank Anthony Bruni is an American journalist. He was the chief restaurant critic of the New York Times, from 2004 to 2009. In June 2011, he was named an Op-Ed columnist for the newspaper—its first openly gay one.
So, we have a gay, restaurant critic, criticizing Ted Cruz, and his readers aren't going to vote for a Republican anyway -- I am scared!

Striving for GOP Unity, Cruz Unveils Dan Patrick Endorsement
"He is the outsider in this race but who understands the inside and how things work, and how to achieve victory in Washington," Patrick told reporters. "Other people can be outsiders, but we don't really know they'll follow up and do what they say."

Limbaugh: Ted Cruz Is ‘Inarguably Thoroughbred Conservative’ [VIDEO]
Rush Limbaugh: I think that there is a dark horse in this entire thing, and I think there is one candidate who is positioned here. Now I know that it’s getting late, Trump has had the lead for 100 days here or more. Well he’s been in the lead ever since he’s got in. And there now fewer days until Iowa that he has been in the lead. I mean he is over the hump in that regard. but there is still a long way to go, it is politics. Any number of unforeseen, unpredictable events are potentially out there. And there has been somebody trucking along here steady-eddy that has continued to be who he is and continues to lay down foundational markers for himself and that’s Ted Cruz. And I think Ted Cruz is, is positioned, I would say ideally. I mean, I’m sure, Cruz would love to be in the top two, top three here but of all the others in the race, you take Trump and Carson here and they’re at number one and number two. Carson has pulled ahead of Trump even in Iowa now in two polls. But overall Trump leads and his lead continues to expand but what if it doesn’t? What if something happens? We’re not shut out here. We still have someone in our roster that opposes every bit of the Democrat agenda, perhaps more than anybody else in the race and that’s Cruz. I mean Cruz does not have in his record any statement, like Trump does, of having supported certain things the Democrats have done. Cruz is inarguably thoroughbred conservative.

Ted Cruz’s plan to pick off the competition
“Cruz has a strong team, approaches every week with goals and a strategy,” Reed said. “If you look away from Cruz's TV coverage and just listen to the audio, he has the strongest message to GOP activists and primary voters.”

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
I am making a note here that I made this very observation on this forum a few years ago and had some vehemently disagree with me. I was right. Just sayin'....
Quote:
Ted Cruz: School Choice Is Today’s ‘Civil Rights Issue’
“I’m not remotely pushing for homeschool to be reclassified in any way, shape or form,” the Texas lawmaker said. “I am a passionate supporter of homeschooling. In fact, many of the people who helped elect me to the Senate and who are among our most passionate supporters in the presidential race are homeschoolers.”
Cruz went on to say he is a “passionate” supporter of school choice, an issue he says he has championed for many years. Additionally, Cruz told Beck school choice has become “the civil rights issue of the 21st century.”

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
Ted Cruz and the Oxymorons of Washington
Unfortunately, this is likely a fait accompli as the anointed one, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) 55%, the soon to be head squish has jumped onboard. The result of this betrayal of the American people makes it only that much more important that voters look to someone like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% to be the next president. We are at a point where the government continues to take more and more of our money, yet continues to demand to borrow even more, and this is while the GOP has both the House and the Senate. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% has both the intellect and the intent to thwart the liberal enablers in the GOP. No one else in this race has shown the willingness to fight the GOP establishment the way Cruz has.
