It Seems Ben Carson Has Forgotten His History

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson told ABC’s This Week that he “would certainly be willing to listen to somebody” argue that the religion of Middle Eastern refugees should be considered probable cause for searches or wiretaps.

“I personally don’t feel that way, but I would certainly be willing to listen to somebody who had evidence to the contrary,” Carson said on the program Sunday morning. “I think that’s one of the problems, we get to our little corners and we don’t want to listen to anybody anymore.”

With this, he'll take the lead from Trump.

Fear and hate wins with the GOP.

It feels good to hear a black person say it.

I'm not racist or Islamaphobic. I like Ben Carson. I work with a Muslim guy and he's alright.

ben carson is a tool.

Carson, Santorum, Gingrich-- all appeal to the GOP's darker side.

I'm not a Carson supporter, but he's absolutely right about the muslim problem.

If so, then I am absolutely right about the GOP problem. I hope you read the article I've linked before aligning yourself up with this clown.

Nope. ThinkProgress is like MSNBC or Media Matters.

He's still right on the muslim problem.

Hey kids!

If you can learn how to peddle fear and hate, you too can grow up and run for President of the USA as a Republican!

Hey JD, if you can learn how to peddle fear and hate, you too can grow up and run for President as a Democrat.

Class/race division.
Peddling fear and hate to seniors.

Yeah, Democrats peddle their own brand of fear and hate.

The whole class/race division is something that GOP'ers said Democrats were doing, but I haven't seen it recently AND I definitely haven't seen it on a national level.

Generally, the Democrats present themselves as all-inclusive, when it comes to individual human beings. Generally, the GOP doesn't.

As far as peddling fear and hate to seniors, the GOP really would enact policies that would hurt the quality of life of many seniors in America. So the Democrats aren't really peddling fear and hate to seniors. They are warning them that a Republican-dominated Congress would very likely see cuts to their benefits. That is reality.

Whatever.

It's true and you know it. You just want to pretend the Democrats are pure as the driven snow.

They're not.

True or false: gay rights and abortion are part of the Democrat Party's platform...

True

True or false: at a recent Democratic Convention, God was removed from the Democrat Party's platform...

True

Also... True or false: it took three votes to get God put back into the party platform, and even then over a clear majority of votes against doing so...

And true!

In a sad comedy of errors, it took three voice votes and in spite of the final voice vote AGAINST putting God back in the party platform, LA Mayor Villaraigosa claimed it passed... To a loud chorus of boos.

Your party doesn't want God included in any part of life, especially in politics.
