CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper unintentionally proved Carson's point when he attacked him. Here's what Hooper and CAIR believe.

Sharia says that a Muslim is superior to a non-Muslim. It states that non-Muslims must submit to Muslims. It says there is no separation of mosque and state.

Now Lindsey Graham is calling for Carson to apologize to the Muslims.

McCain's BFF. Did you see the endorsement announcement with McCain and Graham. It was a funeral! Everyone looked so somber. In the short clip I saw, no one was smiling or looked happy at all.

Ben Carson said what MANY other people think.

He's not wrong, but he should have found a way to skirt this issue.

To me, this proves he's not ready for the office of the President.

Besides, all of this is non-issue. There aren't any Muslims running for office and if one were to run in this election cycle, the Muslim would lose.

Just saying the President of the USA should not be a Muslim or that a Muslim should not even run for the office or any like this smacks of a politician trying to pull the race card-- capitalizing off of the negative perceptions of others.

Santorum, Gingrich and others have done this.

But instead of the race card, Carson pulled the Muslim card, an acknowledgment of the notion that the Muslim is America's new N______r.

The GOP appeals to people's hate.

"Us" against "them" mentality that focuses on our differences, to the point of elevating "us" at the expense of "them".

It's worked for other GOP'ers, but they were white.

The people attracted to Carson's allusion look at Carson and think, "you're not one of "us" either."
