Exactly. I went from NIV to NKJV. I actually still prefer the NKJV to a large degree. I just hate that they put that wretched symbol on almost all of them.

Then try teaching, using various versions, the try quoting the KJV....you will begin to struggle with the KJV.(I had a pastor doing it, he would melt down because he used multiple versions, then ended up resorting to reading the KJV when he lost his touch)

Alright, yes, you are correct. Being raised Catholic, also being around staunch Sedevacantists when I was young, when I meet up with them and help them come into the Apostolic faith, I use their Bible. Even Jay Hove Witnesses, I use their Bibles when we bring them in for conversion. With Haitians, Spanish, we let them use their Bibles, because they get understanding faster. The Catholic gets faster understanding because that was the Bible he or she has been using while they were seeking God in the RCC.

The only person I've seen mentioning hatred for any Bible translation is you.

TK, I told you I know 1 word already....Baptismo. I learned about it in 1980.

Yep, I learned it 35 years ago....1 Greek word.

I just dont feel qualified to teach Greek, knowing 1 Greek word.

I realize you have no way of explaining these passages to folks that they mean immersion, but I never have had a problem. In 35 years, never 1 problem.(about 1,500 lessons)

You think folks think they say the dead are left sticking out of the ground from the ankles up, and the Eunuch and Jesus were ankle deep in water....its okay, whatever you think is best.
