Unfortunately, it's not very biblical in context.

I never said she shouldn't go, but being advised to quench the Spirit ( or "submit") if God wanted to move in that manner is very poor, unbiblical advice.

I agree with this post. Sandra you knew that a Lifeway sponsored event would be a "non-spirit filled" gathering.

You would know this if you would be invited to sing at Saddleback, Willow Creek, Fellowship Dallas, North Pointe Church, etc.

Obviously they know that you are "spirit-filled".

I'm somewhat surprised that they thought that you would possibly "dis-respect" their platform and went as far as to ask you not to do so!
