If you know anything about my past and struggles then you may understand where I'm coming from. Not saying that you'd agree...
For me, getting a tattoo was a right of passage into young adulthood, namely, manhood.

I can't tell someone not to get a tattoo. I can only tell someone to make sure they weigh the pros and cons, and don't cover large areas of the body. When in doubt, don't get a tattoo, or put it somewhere that can be covered, like the upper shoulder.

My kids have both had Hepatitis vaccination series, so I'm sure they're safe on that account. Plus the place they went is very reputable and has had a "100" rating from the ispectors every year. It's not a hole-in-the-wall place; they are licensed by the state and it's a very clean place of business. My kids are covered by the blood of Jesus; I prayed it this morning!

Rev. Randy, I do appreciate all your postings; they were very informative. All that said, I cannot change what has happened and neither can they, so I choose to accept and love them.

Sis..
I completely understand this... Some things that happen to our kids can not be undone.. that's for sure.. I do hope that if my boys come to this decision (hopefully never) I hope I or their mother will be close enough to them that they will discuss it with us before it happens..

I as you will still love them regardless!! That's for sure...

At 18 and 26 they may discuss it with you, but they are still going to do what they want at that age. I believe that is all Sherri has tried to say in this.

If I was a Pastor and someone talked to me about getting a Tattoo ,I would discourage them from getting one ,but I wouldn't try to make them not get one ,but I would ask them to pray and seek God before making a decision.
