Re: Coming Soon! Genetically Modfied Human Organi

In the old days, "20 or 30 years ago" things like transplants were referred to as "Playing God". That was what I was referring to. Just to clarify.

How about if we genetically modify your kids?

Re: Coming Soon! Genetically Modfied Human Organi

That is exactly my point. Who wouldn't want a healthy child?

People will try to demonize the technology. But in 20 years what will you tell your child when they have some deadly disease? We thought the Christian thing to do was roll the dice and see if you got sick.

No I do not want you to genetically modify my kids. I want the choice to be mine. I should choose whether to use the technology or not.

It is your choice to go to the doctor. It is also your choice to take your kids to the doctor.
How is this any different than not taking a child to the hospital?

I am fine with anyone who gets to CHOOSE to use the technology. But they are talking about creating a baby with GMO. Does this baby get a choice?

No the baby does not get a choice. That is a valid point.

Does a baby get a choice if the mother smokes or drinks?

My main point is I don't think we should not fear technology. Medicine and science should be used responsibly. No body should forget that everyone has rights even babies that are not born yet.

My concern is if the technology was outlawed so nobody could use it. Or the technology being forced on someone who does not want it for their child.

The technology in question goes against the very foundation that God set in place for two people of the opposite sex to come togather in marriage and produce children. Rather technololgy says that rather than following God's model of to make one we should instead improve on God's design and take three to make one because we know better than God. This is a blasphemous thing.

Amen. The nephilim set out to corrupt our dna--apparently like the one thing God forbade them absolutely to do; and they are paying the price in...Abaddon, is it? the dungeon of hell? right now...

and every certified doctor is carefully screened, Rockefeller trained, and committed to polluting their oath, although many of them do not even know it. in their zeal to become drs, they allow themselves to be programmed. You know the Rockefeller/Rothschilds are committed to pop reduction and NWO, and you still let them poke around inside you? go ahead, pilgrim

There is a lot of DNA mixing, and genetic mixing going on in laboratories that if we knew, would horrify us. I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg as far as what is going on in laboratories, with man trying to play God.
human dna in rice now--yikes.

What could be worst than homosexuality?
um, i can think of many more heinous sins, committed by those considered clergy. Legalism, for instance. i'm serious. i expect a homosexual to be incorrect in a sense (no offense), but a pastor has a special burden there.

A big amen to that. it always struck me as funny how the one spiritual organ--pineal gland possibly excepted, but that is brain--mentioned numerous times in Scripture as being where one's decisions should emanate from--heck, we even have a cliche for it; 'follow your heart'--is the one mad doctors can 'replace.' anyone familiar with heart function knows that it is constantly adjusting its rhythms to compensate for changes in environment. you cannot replace a heart with a pump, sorry.
