REVEALED: The GOP’s NEW plan to repeal, replace Obamacare

The Republican Study Committee in the House of Representatives will unveil a health-care bill Wednesday to replace Obamacare.

The bill, titled the Republican Study Committee’s American Health Care Reform Act, ”dramatically opens up options for families, and dramatically lowers costs” compared to the Obamacare law, committee chairman Louisiana Rep. Steven Scalise told The Daily Caller.

Re: Repubs plan to stop Obamacare w/o Gov't Shutdo

Today I am proud to give my endorsement of The American Health Care Reform Act (AHCRA) developed by my former colleagues in the Republican Study Committee. Unlike the onerous, convoluted, and oxymoronic Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), the ACHRA is a commonsense free market solution to improve an American healthcare system by ensuring individual liberty and sovereignty are promoted. Healthcare is a very personal choice for individuals, but the PPACA violates that basic premise. President Obama can attempt to accuse Republicans of extortion, but the proof of his theft of the American dream for future generations is obvious by way of his socialist concept of wealth redistribution. As well, Obama is guilty of bribery as he grows the welfare nanny-state by promising more largesse from the public treasury in order to expand the dependency society for his own liberal progressive political designs. - Col. Allen West

So, it is not a waste of time for good men in office to voice that and highlight that Congress is NOT voting for something meaningful. That Congress is NOT listening to the American people.

Until DeMint took over at Heritage, we never gained this much traction. It is never a waste of time to keep pushing.

They can say that the country is turning blue and Texas will turn blue because we don't think it will, but I say these principled men like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Justin Amash, et al., are going to continue to rise. And I do believe on both sides, the American people are watching and really listening. I don't believe the majority of the Left is any less Patriotic than those on the Right, when push comes to shove. I don't care what the media or polling is trying to make us believe.
Problem is the Demo's have the hearts and minds of the 52%, so the Repubs will get blamed for shutting down the "give aways" from the gov, and so we continue to go in circle. Which seems to be a spiral downward......

I think that we won't be able to fix anything until we fix our educational system. That means that we can't allow the Unions to control it. One reason why the Obama Administration is trying to sue Gov. Bobby Jindal. He wants freedom of choice, and that is something that Obama ran against.

Then you have Jeb Bush pushing the horrible Common Core program.

We are going in a never ending circle. Tiring to say the least.

Re: Repubs plan to stop Obamacare w/o Gov't Shutdo

This article goes over all the information concerning a government shutdown and how Karl Rove is a liar, which we already knew, and how we can stop Reid from funding Obamacare.

I especially note that Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are already aware of the process. It is going to be up to the GOP Establishment and whether or not they are complicit with the problems in this country. I suspect that they are.

Quote:
Senate Republicans Can Stop Reid from Funding Obamacare

Establishment Republicans would let you believe the next step in the process is the Senate has a vote on Reid’s amendment. What these politicians are not telling you is Sen. Reid cannot get a vote on his amendment to put Obamacare funding back in the House bill unless some of the Republicans agree to it.

Here’s how that happens.

Re: Repubs plan to stop Obamacare w/o Gov't Shutdo

From Senator Ted Cruz today.

Quote:
Now its the Senate's turn.

The next step is critical. Senate Republicans should demand a 60-vote threshold for any effort that would add Obamacare funding back into the House bill. This is the battle line: Senate Republicans must stop Reid from rejecting the House bill and adding Obamacare funding with merely 51 votes.
