I don't know. I heard West mention something on his person (can't recall what it was today), but didn't bring up the ear buds.

During the point when Mr. Guy began to open the door to TM's physical abilities, then O'Mara stopped him and asked to approach the bench; it almost seemed to me that O'M was letting the judge know, "Hey, look at where he's about to go and I'm just warning you... this will allow me to -and I *WILL*- bring up TM's past fights, skills, abilities, tendencies, and his character." Of course, it would seem that O'M would just silently stand by and allow Guy to go there, but ... I don't know... I just seemed that O'M let the Judge & Pros know, upfront, what they were about to do.

Perhaps a stupid thought on my part -- just my impression of the events.

Yes, so true! I posted earlier, seemingly jokingly, that the new trend will be to NOT lose weight or strength train (or something to that effect). I meant it in a way. There is fear now, I'm sure, in the minds of others, "Should I learn self defense," "What if I take Karate and that knowledge gets used against me," "Maybe I shouldn't learn to shoot a gun," "What if I'm in great shape and someone sucker-punches me," on and on.

This case has an agenda! It's very far-reaching and the consequences are devastating!

I look at the Defense team, the State of FL, and all who were involved in forcing this case to go to trial, and think, "Dirty dogs!"

Not really stupid, I was thinking he could also show her how a mistrial could take place.

I believe that TM's family met with the Mayor, not because they knew it was TM's voice on the 911 call, but because GZ had a gun and TM did not. GZ was older and he was not black. Self-defense was and is not an issue for them.
