Win for West! Pros wanted to object to a line of questioning West is doing about the "Stand your ground" law, relating to its origin. Judge almost upheld it, but after the wit verified that he teaches on it, she grudgingly overruled the objection.

Pros: Objection!

Judge: will instruct the Jury on the law; wit told to limit the answers to what he taught in class.

Side note: There was an objection from West and Judge granted a sidebar. I noticed there was a lady who approached with the Defense. Did they add an attorney?

4TH Wit already this morning. Pros still on their fishing expedition.

This wit from SPD administration. Testified to a request from GZ to ride-along "to solidify his chances for a law enforcement career."

And he's off the stand. Pros is moving through these quickly.

How annoying. This Professor testifying via Skype, so naturally people start trying to call him while he's trying to testify. They had to shut it down because he couldn't talk over the continuous interruptions.

Why is this guy being allowed to testify remotely anyway?

Glad that's over.

In a nutshell, Def was able to show that just because course paperwork gives various subjects in that course, not every subject is covered. Indeed, a lot of the subjects the Pros wanted to focus on weren't even covered by the professor in the class with GZ.

FTR, the majority of calls I saw that came up on the screen had photos of white guys. Apparently these guys were bored in their mom's basement and decided to prank the Pros.
