What a description... Pros better have some Facebook posts or Tweets from Good showing him to be biased in favor of GZ.

Did Pros or O'mara ask if Good knew GZ? I don't remember if they did or not.

This is somewhat what I was thinking a few days ago.

The police cleared GZ at the beginning...that would include the Pros office. The Pros had to be given information to see if there was a case to bring against GZ, yet everyone cleared GZ of any guilt.

It wasn't until TM's parents hired their attorney and a consultant, brought Sharpton to Sanford, and the mobs nearly started rioting that the Pros decided to bring GZ to a trial....only to appease the mob.

Pros has no case so far. Surely not enough to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Anyone watching the trial can see that several of the witnesses testimonies were either impeached by bias or a change in testimony, or that the testimony is inconsistent with the crime scene.

You would think Pros would voice objections when: 1) Good identified the person on top as TM; 2) Good used the term "ground and pound"; 3) O'mara's continued use of the term "ground and pound." But it's been mostly silence from the Pros side.

I looked on Twitter and people are in an uproar. People cannot believe Pros brought this wit who has damaged the Pros case.

One girl said she was sick to her stomach because the wit ID'd TM as the person on top. Others said Good is lying and perjuring himself. Some others asked if TM was on top and GZ shot him, why wasn't GZ's jacket or shirt covered in blood. (The last is a good question, actually.) I believe the answer is because Trayvon was wearing a hoodie, which soaked up any blood.

The issue is during the deposition, Good did refer to MMA as his description...but he's not sure if he said "ground and pound." Pros is alleging he changed his testimony.

John Good's statement to the PD should free GZ. He DID say ground and pound.

Can the Defense request the Judge dismiss the charges since this witness just destroyed the Pros case? I believe they could, but I'm not 100% positive. If they can, they should.

Sadly, I would say it's racially split. Obama, Sharpton and the other "leaders" in the black community should be proud. Every single tweet from a black person is saying regardless, GZ should be locked up (or worse) because he killed "a child." And almost every white person is saying this was a HUGE win for the defense and proves GZ acted in self-defense.

John Good better be packing or get security. As should the Defense atty's and GZ. There will be riots when GZ walks.

It was established that the defendant was following the 17 year old.

The 17 year old felt threatened.

The 17 year old actually tried to run away from the creepy guy.

The creepy guy followed him.

The creepy guy is the aggressor in this situation.

The 17 year old defends himself but is killed.

If performing neighborhood watch duties, he shouldn't have been armed-- by the national "Neighborhood Watch" organization-- but this wasn't that.


So, basically I'll be able to walk around my neighborhood and if I think someone is suspicious looking, I can chase the person and if that person defends themself, I can kill them and claim self-defense.


I am glad this went to trial.

You missed the testimony by the Stanford Police Department witness who stated that the training said to follow from a safe distance. She also agreed that Trayvon's actions made him appear suspicious.

The new HOA President finally admitted to the defense that they were told they could at a safe distance.
