The above is THE reason for this thread.

Notice "it's the poewr IN IT (hair)" and "they are feeling the power of God come OUT from it (hair)"......

That is what was disturbing, not her saying she felt God nor that they have long uncut hair, but the doctrine that teaches in HER OWN WORDS that power (God's power/Spirit) is coming OUT of her hair...yikes! Come on people, we can believe in God and miracles, but that is just weird, let alone unbiblical. BTW where does the power of God come out of on the man? Or is he powerless unless married to a woman with uncut hair?
Okay, how old was the lady that wrote this? Is it really pertinent to write a thread about someone who wrote something on EC of all places?? Does this supposed article speak for all of the people who believe that ladies should not cut their hair?? Does this article have a couple of incorrect points??

You guys are so foaming at the mouth to find any of this stuff that you can, post it here on big bad ole AFF, and have the "yes" thread of the day.

Congratulations...now maybe someone can find something on MySpace or Xanga or some other some other blog site and misrepresent some other aspect of holiness believers.

And if I were a black woman, posts about white women's hair and the power it has because of how it looks would be more offensive to me than anything I said about their hair.

Thad, be honest. Have you ever heard black men or black women speak about hair in the way white people do?

Thad's church is made up of mostly black people...I can assure you that he understands!

Bro. Phelps you know I said NO such thing. But that is what caught their attention. I am clueless to the attitude that folks have here toward any effect the Old Time Pentecostal Look and Demeanor may have on some folks.

First the symbol is NEVER as important as the act AS LONG as the act does NOT violate the symbol. And David was king & priest. And he gave the bread to his men. AND they were MEN by the way.

If a woman wants to act and look like a man then they should be willing to face the consequences. Every woman that puts herself in a man's place wants to whine when she is not treated like a woman. Well make up your mind if you want to be treated like a woman quit being a feminist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hillary is a perfect lesson for that!

The is no power in hair. The woman was mistaken. But since I wasn't there I don't know what was said in context. We are taking another reporting.
