All the talk about Melinda.....you have not heard the last of her. I would not be surprised to see her sign a deal with Verity or, even, Cece's label. She is going to be singing GOSPEL, without a doubt.

It'll be Jordin Sparks. She's got the entire PHX metro hometown rooting for her. Blake's just a one-hit wonder if he wins. He'll be like Rueben and Justin.
Speaking of one-hit wonders . . . has the last Idol winner made a cd yet? I haven't heard anything from him since the show ended last year. Even forgot what his name was . . .

I agree.
While I really, really, really like both Blake and Jordin. I think I will have to vote for Jordin.

It's Taylor Hicks.
And yes, he has a CD out. It was released in December '06.

I just read the other day that Blake has now inherited the Sanjaya crowd.... I wonder if that puts him in the lead. 
Simon said it best: Blake is a PERFORMER, not so much of a SINGER. After all, that's what worked for Taylor Hicks, right?
