Truthseeker,
If you listen to the call, he actually never tells the cops where he's going to be simply because he is on foot and moving, trying to find where Trayvon Martin went. He tells the dispatcher to tell teh cops to call me when they get here.

If he had simply went back to his veghicle, or maybe even not gone after that innocent 17 year old boy then none of this would have happened. His truck was parked and stationary. He could have very easily told the cops to meet him where his truck was parked.

But he didn't give the cops a specific location because at the time the call ended, zimm didn't know where he would be when the cops actually arrived.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

Canam,

Yes, zim is guilty of murder. Former Governor Bush, Gingrich, and others all across the country have stated that the "Stand Your Ground" law here in Flroida was never meant to be applied in cases like this.

Zim killed Martin and it if was in self-defense, zim was the one who initiated the altercation, based on what has been released to the public.

By zim's own admission on the 911 call, Martin was moving away from zim.

According to the 911 call, you can infer that zim pursued Martin because zim states that he couldn't see where Martin went and if you listen to the call, you can hear an out of breath and excited zim describe what's going in as he complains about how the *******s always get away.

Like JD said, it doesn't end with that, actually. He wanted the cops to CALL him and find out where he was because either he didn't want to give the 911 operator his location or he knew he was GOING TO KEEP MOVING!

Are we back to assumptions? "because" "because". Why don't you guys at least acknowledge there are multiple other possibilities, and wait for the evidence.

Yes, there are other possibilities, and in the context of this conversation our "assumptions" can be viewed as "exploring the possibilities." I fully understand that my ideas about what *went down* may or may not line up with the facts at the end.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

The longer this drags on, the more I am convinced that Zim was justified in shooting Trayvon. IMO I have no doubt Trayvon attacked Zim because he didn't like the fact that Zim followed and confronted him out of suspicion of Trayvon's behavior.

I think others know this too so they are waging a publicity war against Zim to make him guilty in as many peopels eyes as they can, all the while ignoring the fact that "little" Trayvon wasn't a saint. They keep plastering some 10 year old pic of an innocent looking little boy instead of any of the more up to date pics that show that Trayvon wasn't some little tiny boy. They do that in order to further demonize Zimmerman by making peopel feel emotionally that he killed a small innocent boy instead of the over 6 foot football player he actually was.

IMO Al and Jesse, etc know this will fail at trial, so they want to win the propaganda war before it even gets there so Zimmerman will be guilty in others eyes where ever he goes. They also, I have no doubt, would lik nothing more than for it to lead to riots a la the Rodney King debacle. They thrive on fake racism and the problems it causes. Further, I have no doubt that our POTUS secretly loves the idea of this going badly and errupting into more race problems. He knows that will "rally" the blacks to blindly cast there votes for good ol Obama out fo some misconstrued notion of "sticking together" while white guys like Zimmerman(who isn't white) kill them and descriminate against them.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

I remember a time, guess I was about 19 or 20. I was working out of town and trying to find my motel in a strange town. I pulled into an empty lot that (I found out later) was a Sears warehouse to look at my map. It was about 11:30pm. Upon pulling out of the lot I noticed a small white Chev. Cavalier following me. After driving and turning for several blocks I noticed the car was still following me. Being in a strange town it bothered me at first, then it just ticked me off. I pulled into another empty parking lot and stopped, the car pulled in and stopped about 30 yards behind me and just sat there. Being young and dumb, matched with 6'4" 235lbs frame, I grabbed a piece of pipe (was driving my work vehicle) and walked back towards the car. Before I got to him the parking lot was full of police cars.

Turns out, he was a security guard who thought it suspicious that I was sitting behind a Sears warehouse and followed me until the police could catch up.

Here is the equation for you. According to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, who is right and who is wrong? Had there been a security company decal on the car then I would have realized what was going on. But since there wasn't, I felt threatened, and thus I "stood my ground". The security guard could have used the same argument and shot me.

The problem in this case will be the same. It is very possible that Treyvone felt threatened and thus decided to "stand his ground", which in turn lead to Zimmy doing the same.

So what do you do?

There's no evidence that I know that that proves Zim pursued to altercation.
