Re: What's your favorite canon?

My favorite Canon is my SX230hs. I got it a few months ago to replace my Canon SX210 which I also loved. When I decided to not take a dedicated video camera on my big trip this May I wanted the great still shots my pocket Canon SX210 got with that 14x optical zoom but also better video capability than the 720p it had. It's replacement, the SX230, actually has a slightly smaller sensor but the same 14x zoom and 1080p video capability with better low light performance. I bought a collapsible monopod in lieu of a tripod so I should get some good steady video footage.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: What's your favorite canon?

Personally I like the old Civil War Canons in Battlefield Park in Vicksburg, MS. the city of my birth. Those Rebels gave the Yankees a run for their money in Vicksburg but the liberal yanks like to have starved my people to death. God is on our side and the SOUTH shall rise again!

Canon beats Nikon.

I saw this one at the Kremlin. It's pretty cool!

Nice! (Both the camera and the new way to avoid the question! )

Re: What's your favorite canon?

Hey, ya know, these references to cannons are kind of appropriate. The Bible canon is called a sword -- another deadly weapon!

Ok, well, it's everywhere, don't let anyone fool you. They all agree. Don't let anyone fool you. And you can't put God in a Book. Don't let anyone fool you.
