The Jewish boneyard here in Norwich is called "The First Hebrew Society"

The sign says it. I always tell my wife as we drive by "Things are pretty dead aound here, let's not join" .... she has got to be getting sick of that joke after nigh on 20 years of it

How about some creepy, gothic spin on the rapture... lots of skulls and stuff with the caption "When you least expect it...I will Rise.."

Here lies my wife
She made a mistake
Stepped on the gas
Instead of the brake

An old saint out of the Elmore City, OK UPC has a similar inscription on her tombstone and I have always wanted it on mine:

Remember friend
As you pass by,
As you are now
So once was I,
As I am now
You soon will be,
Prepare for Christ
and follow me!

There is no question which way Sister Fowler went! What a saint.

Here lies the body of the Monkey
Wasn’t too plain, yes was very funky
Full of health, his heart had endurance
He quickly went down, after upping insurance

My husband once wrote this in a letter to me...

"Some day, when our journey is finished, may the epitaph engraved on the minds of those that knew us be this:

They served God;
Their kids loved them;
And they laughed.
Together."

Maybe we'll have that engraved on a joint tombstone.

I have thought of using that one myself.
