Re: Yes, I carry a Gun!

I've put stuff away and have no recollection of ever having done it. Just sayin.

I will tell you folks this. I was at camp meeting two years ago and I took one of my pistols. I had it loaded and by my bedside. I awoke around 3AM and my pistol was gone! I jumped off my hotel bed and pulled off all the covers and the pistol was gone. Then I said to myself, self, someone came into my room while I was sleeping and stole my pistol. For some reason I felt to check my luggage bag that was on the other side of the room. Inside my luggage bag at the very bottom my pistol laid. I said how did this get here, then God spoke and told me, " I will protect you." Fear fell upon me and I unloaded my pistol and stored it away.

So I guess I'm being a bad boy right now by carrying a pistol.
Nice, I am going to get my carry permit next month. Isn't too big a task to get it here in TN, our gun laws aren't too bad.

I probably will get a LCP380 or a P-32 to carry in my pocket. I have other full size and compact handguns to carry, but I am a big guy and not sure how comfortable carrying them IWB will be. Will probably just have to test each way out. But I think the pocket method is the way I will go.

Randy,

Ok....let's assume perhaps I sleep walked and put the pistol away. Here's exactly what I would have needed to do while sleep walking.

1) Remove bed sheets from on top of me
2) Reach for the loaded pistol under the pillow beside me
3) Hold it correctly to prevent accidental firing of pistol
4) Walk across the room to my luggage bag
5) Removed my folded clothing and put loaded gun at very bottom of luggage bag
6) Fold all clothing I pulled out of bag and put on top of gun
7) Walk back to bed and lay down
8) Put bed sheet on top of me as they were before I fell asleep
9) Fart (maybe, who knows)

If I did all that during my sleep, I should receive some type of sleep walking award. Oh, and not to mention someone telling me they'll protect me when I woke up and could find the gun. I'm not a ventriloquist.

Yes, that does seem like an awful lot for a sleep walker to do.

Except my wife gets the occasional sleep walker patient (someone being treated for it) and they have been know to:

1: Get out of bed
2: Put on some cloths
3: Grab their keys and start their car
4: Drive through a fast food drive-through
5: Eat
6: Drive back home
7: Take off their cloths
8: Wake up in the morning with no memory of having done anything the night before.

Well perhaps he deserves a reward. However, I'll side on an act of God. Whether he supernaturally performed it, or whether he had me sleep walk and store it away, it was all his act. But his voice is unmistakable and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put one and one together. My pistol missing where I had left it and God speaking "I will protect you." Now, if you want to come at me with, "what if it wasn't God's voice?" Bubba, you've come too late in life for that one.

Re: Yes, I carry a Gun!

I have a permit in Indiana. Doesn't have to be concealed in this state.
