Pastor you did quite well last night. Didn't you enjoy the atmosphere? I really enjoyed the fact that there was prayer before and that even though there may have been one or two contoversial plays there was no stomping off or arguing. Wonderful spirit.

I never understood how you guys keep your cool back behind the plate. I remember as a kid, Steve Yeager getting his throat cut by splinter bat and I knew I would never play that position.!!!

CLC (church) has their own little league and when I attended back in the day we also had 8 or 9 mens teams in the city league. We even had 2 women's teams. I played on the "A" team...not because of my bat trust me! But I covered 2nd base like a tortilla covers beans! I scooped it up!

I miss them days...here its all about church hockey..whatever!

Tonight I am playing my second game in a softball league. After the last game I felt old and worn out. Who would have thought softball would require being in shape? I have a few specific requests:

1. Pray I actually hit the ball out of the infield tonight.
2. Pray our team performs better than the first game (sheesh!).
3. Pray that I can make it to second base if I actually hit the ball in the gap.
