What is the "originating document from the doc" in this context?
Have you ever been in a hospital when a child is born. I've been there and done that. I followed the docs around. I pestered the docs and nurses. I proudly had "docs" sign off on birth certificates and once, tragically was there when a doc had to sign off on a death certificate.
I know the procedure. Here's the "original" birth certificate for myself:
From my experience, few people in America today can actually produce their "original" birth certificates. I've got mine - but even with all the care I've taken, it's pretty battered.
As I said before, given Obama's childhood move from Hawaii to Indonesia and then all around the place, it's perfectly reasonable to conclude his family lost a lot of personal papers etc. Add to that, his mother's divorce from his father when he was quite young, and you can see how the family documents could also have been lost when the old man split.
My own take on the President's personality is that he would probably rather pull out one of his own molars with a pair of pliers on national television than to go into the kind of pain he must have endured as a kid. That probably just feeds this stuff.
Let's be rational, though. And... if Trump really wants to be the Republican candidate, let's demand more from him than just a bunch of pandering. We already get that from the Democrats.
