He was BORN FROM THE DEAD, folks. He was BORN OF MARY as well. That shows TWO BIRTHS! But all the while He did NONE of those things because of His personal need as you are trying to force my position to say.

We see integrally different forms of BIRTH in our own first and second birth. From the womb and from the Spirit. Why can you not see the same thing with Jesus who was BORN of Mary and firstBORN from the dead?

Totaly agree with this. Without this we have no reality of a new covenant.

NO. the CONCEPT is the same according to Paul in Romans 6. I understand the SAME WORD does not prove the point. But I am not standing on that. I am standing on Paul's teaching about salvation being a resurrection when we rise with Christ into newness of life and must present ourselves to God as such,according to Ro 6:13.

Jesus was also born of mary by Divine intervention, was he born again then? No because Jn 3 is NOT talking about THAT. It's NOT talking about being resurrected

John 3 is talking about OUR SIDE of the picture.

Was Jesus "born again" according to Jn 3? Was he born of the water and the Spirit according to Jn 3? IF the answer is yes then he was unregenerated according to you

What about BEGOTTEN? Why did the apostle apply Psalm 2's reference to being begotten to His resurrection? Are we not resurrected WITH Him when saved (Ro 6:11, 13)?

Yes He was. But not because he had sin. He was tempted in all points like us.

There were others before Jesus that was brought forth from death. Lazarus for one. Even well before that.. the boy that Elijah breathed into

We were alive in Adam, and had to die to Adam by death with Christ in order to be born again this time in Christ. Salvation provides that!

I see our new birth to be a result of his resurrection, not the same thing as. I don't see Jesus under the power of sin before his death and breaking the power of sin after his death. So for me new birth is stricly for us. Although Jesus was brought forth from the dead. We will experience resurrection physically one day.

Another words the Likeness of his resurrection in Romans 6 doesn't mean the same as his resurrection to me. But it is likened to or similar.
