It was not a typo Miss Bratt, but yes, I believe it was chosen deliberately, with zero originality. So, sure they gave it thought, but it was simply a matter of co-opting an existing term the conservatives have been using.

This had nothing to do with this thread discussion until certain posters made it so.

You are very welcome! The Identity junk is dangerous and has no place in Apostolic churches IMO.

Are you aware whether or not they still teach it in your former church?

It is no longer taught because the preacher who taught it died around 1991. The older members still believed it but most of them are gone now as well. In 1991 when we got a new preacher all of the younger members latched on to his teachings and I guess just forgot about the other stuff.
