Re: Survey About Doctrinal Beliefs
You ever hear the saying "Me thinketh thou protesteth too much"? The irony here is the more OP2 protests the more it sounds like he is trying to make himself appear spiritually superior to everyone else...
Which is what his first post appeared to be where he said he was in prayer ALL EVENING and that he just had to inform us that was the reason he did not post a couple hours earlier as if we needed to know that.

- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I have never said that "everyone one IS saved", rather all WILL be saved.
Some thru the "fire", some thur the flood, .....but ALL thru the BLOOD, one needs to decide what path they will walk to their final destiny.
Everyone's final destiny is determined, however, many will continue to walk the broad road, and their lives in this world will be wasted. Many are believing now and are the elect, and will, therefore, not have to go thru the refiners fire.
So, I highly recommend entering life here and now, so that one does not have to endure the "fiery" presence of the living God. By which all chaff and dross will be removed.
That my friend is the point, the work of redemption is complete, Jesus said, "It is finished", however, the entering into to it is another matter.

Re: Survey About Doctrinal Beliefs
Those who deny Hell are humanists who deny the justice of God. If God is love, God must hate sin, and all are guilty of sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, All who come in true repentance and faith in Christ shall be saved. Those who won't shall forever be condemned to the eternal fire of Hell, which is in fact the full manifestation of the wrath of God against all unrighteousness.
Universalism denies the justice of God, the holiness of God, the depravity of sin. It makes grace just a get out of damnation free card. How a person can read the Bible and not believe in Hell is unfathomable.

I'm glad you've never heard your whoever never say that he just got back from praying for a few hours. You've never heard me say it either.

Wow. You really seem to be taking things personally. My humble advice would be to step away for a few days and recollect. You're starting to lash out at everyone. No one is your enemy here.

How just is a God that will send the vast majority of men to hell for sin, something which apart from Christ they have no choice in

How can we judge God as being unjust in our own eyes? God does not answer to us. Second, sin is direct violation against God and His commandments, and all have sinned. Sin is contrary to God, and if a soul was condemned to Hell, then God had acted justly.
We want God to be more of a kind uncle instead of the holy Judge. It is in our flesh for us to ask why God would send a soul to hell. The fact is, God does not send us to Hell, but instead judges rightly and casts us, if we had not come to faith and repentance of sin, to our eternal reward.
I have come to see some things a little more clearly as of late. We do have a choice. Every man has been given a measure of faith according to scripture. The Father draws all men, and none can come lest the father draw them. But, man can be rebellious against God, meaning man can choose to not come. He can refuse. For that, there is a fruit, a reward, and that is the just and fierce wrath of the holy God, the Lord Jesus Christ, full of mercy and justice.
How can God sentence man to hell? Because He is holy and He is God.

Words have meaning and calling someone just means something. So yes, I can judge whether to call someone just. And sins is a violation of God's commandments and all have sinned... but none of them had a choice not to. How can you judge people without a choice? I can't.
As for the 2nd paragraph... some men never get an opportunity to come to Jesus.
