I understand what Bro. S is saying though - many times the written word does come out different that we really mean, however, a word like reprobate is pretty cut and dry in it's meaning.

I have no single opinion on the membership here.

There are some who I believe are the finest people in pentecost, others who are solid, Godly folks, while some I pray will not continue down the path they are on else it may jepordize their salvation.

Then their are others who, in my humble opinion, are as lost as a goose in a hail storm. My definition of peoples salvation here is of little consequence to many, I imagine. As is there judgements of me. Since having started posting on these kind of forums I have been called, pharisee, mini-pope, judge-jury-executioner, legalist, yellow bellied coward, money hungry, mean spirited ... The list could go on and on. It is all meaningless, my standing with God is between Him and I alone. I would never condone name calling at individuals however, I would suggest to anyone who is bothered by the names that get hurled around generally that they need to get over it. It happens all the time from every direction.

On this we do so agree. Too strong a word to be used without context.

Interesting. You then say some are totally lost here.

This is the bottom line. I would love nothing more than to NEVER have any name calling. However, it is the nature of the fuss on forums and it happens on ALL SIDES.

I do NOT like the heavy-handy approach of trying to fix it. There is no way you could EVER be fair because it happens on both sides (which I had there are even sides, but you know what I mean.)

Can't we just get along?

Yes, I believe that there are some who post here who are currently not saved and should the rapture take place this afternoon would be wondering why there were so few posting over the next few days.

That's right.

Also BOOM is corrent in his honest assement too.

However, poor sentence construction, together with the reader not properly interpreting what is said, often genders an attitude by the reader. Then the fur will fly in a cat fight.

The genesis is found in poor sentence construction, misinterpretation of the reader and then a hostile audience that will take up the cause. Hence the literary domino effect.

No, but it does start with an R.

Well, here's what the Bible says about it all.

Respect everyone, and love your Christian brothers and sisters. Fear God, and respect the king.

1 Peter 2:17 NLT

This doesn't give you a loophole for those that aren't saved like you think they should be. It says EVERYONE!
