Re: Have you attended a Muslim or Hindu Wedding...
My landlord and neighbor comes from Guyana and are a mixture of Hindu and Christian. The nephew (who is "Christian") married a Hindu girl. They had a massive tent set up with like a major festival and had a Hindu wedding on Friday night and I performed a Christian Ceremony on Saturday. When I asked for the papers - they produced a wedding certificate and they had been married for a year (at the courthouse by the clerk) and no one knew it and they still did not tell the parents! They both lived with their parents until the wedding night. It was CRAZY! Of course they had a massive party Friday and Saturday nights and drank and danced all night long - I was long gone by then!

Would I be approving of their sin (the first commandment) and idolatry?

So you think it's ok for a believer to marry an unbeliever??

For whatever reason I was thinking about this thread this morning, and wondering how many would have attended my wedding this past November. I was 9 weeks pregnant and married an Atheist.

(laughing) this lot would probably have tied the two of you to the stake and fought over who got to light the match....
