Hate to break it to you, but you really haven't made a point.
You offered a neophyte rebuttal using bumper sticker logic -- and didn't make a sound application at that. That's not really a point.

*sigh* the fact that you are a part of the "crowd" that doesn't agree with the "minority" proves my point. Thank You.

Come now. You can't avoid this that easily! You have to have more common denominators to your "crowd being wrong" theory than just simply a crowd. Saying the crowd is usually wrong is just like saying the crowd in Rev 7 must be wrong because they're the crowd in that instance. Illogical, Bro E.

more common denominators??? Come on Mike, you know as well as I that crowds are fickle and the majority opinions is what I am talking about. your crowd that you speak of is still a minority.

The point is that Rev 7 shows a great multitude no man can number, not just 144k. There is no contrast with the rest of humanity in Rev 7 -- just THAT HOLY CROWD. It is the "crowd" of that chapter. You said the crowd is usually wrong. That inference did not qualify the crowd, making the majority statement about dress that introduced this thread something you could claim was error simply because you noted the term CROWD, and thought any crowd is usually wrong. By the same token, not considering the context, but simply seeing the CROWD< Rev 7's CROWD must be wrong too. You gave no distinction nor qualification for that claim you made, which is why you got the responses you did.
The point is, a cliche cannot be thrown to the table anytime a CROWD is mentioned by saying the crowd is usually wrong. There are far more details and qualifiers that must be considered that you simply did not make. So I showed you the illogic of that reasoning by finding a CROWD that did not fall in your category to make that point. Perhaps you missed the point.

Not in Rev 7! A multitude no man could number. Come on, bro. Think about your cliche for a moment.
