Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

When you came on here after I had cross posted. I just tried to Google it but I was under a different username (my real name) at the time so it may be a while before I can find the exchange.

Long story; short, on the change in usernames: Someone else had questioned my integrity and called me out at that same time so I asked the AFF admins to change my screen name to my real name so that all of my cards were clearly on the table. The other guy's pastor came on to straighten out the stories that were told and said some very kind words on my behalf.

After a while folks here asked that I go back to my screen name since they were getting mixed about who "the new guy" was.

This reminded me of a scripture...................
I've never seen AB be "hateful." He just seems to wander in at times and shout "Well, GLORY!" He's always been kind to me - and we don't hardly agree about some issues.

I remember once he and S. Epley carried on like a couple of old timers in a way that might have been misunderstood by those who weren't familiar with that method of kidding one another. But Epley seemed to be having a time, so I didn't think there was any harm.
