Prax... what do you expect when they twist Paul the confusing apostle. some take Pauls meaning that because law came about well some reason we just wanted to sin more because we knew what sin was? instead of understanding Paul in a certain context and a form of speach they make God's being a tempter. Which James points to the natural element. Thoughts come and we conceive lust and then do it.

Steve made the statement that he felt like women shouldn't "give it away" during the first 90 days of a dating relationship - that they should wait that long before having sex. He said that he knew what the Bible said, but he also knew how women were! When he said that, the audience and the interviewers all clapped and laughed.

It made Eddie so mad and it just made me sick when he told me. I cannot believe that they laughed about this on the biggest Christian TV station in the world. God help us! Is there no sin anymore?

Did anyone else see this?
Didn't see it, but it being TBN and Paula White, I'm not surprised...

I have to question the sanity of anyone that watches that trash on even a regular basis. They should just run christian movies

Re: TBN Mess

Are we mad because he implied women have low morals or because he implied that sex outside of marriage was ok?

Personally, I'm bothered by the first, but not the second.

Why not both? You ok with sex outside marriage?

Incensed that TBN would indicate that sex outside marriage is ok, when even Steve Harvey said,"I know what the Bible says, but..........". And bothered by the first statement too.

When either party is married? No. When both parties are single, consenting, adults. Yes.

Let me add that I do not believe the Bible to be written by God, and therefore I tend to view many of it's commands as outdated cultural and historical mores.

I should also add as a disclaimer of sorts that I am of the personal opinion that sex outside of a monogamous committed relationship (not necessarily "marriage") is hollow and meaningless.

Re: TBN Mess

That is so sad Sherri!

I can't believe that a Christian network would make light of sin-- especially sexual sin.

This was a case of the blind leading the blind.

I hate that TBN seems to prey on the vulnerable!!!

The audience applauded sin.

Really, this is disturbing.

Disturbing and sad.
