Well, it is a public forum. One-on-one conversations are best had in private message, as anything you post on a forum is a free-for-all. At least that's the common etiquette on here.

What are false doctrines that are only supported with one scripture?
Do I need a scripture to prove you must comb your hair down the middle to be saved, or does the person claiming you must comb your hair down the middle have a burden to support that position from scripture?

Either way, I don't consider my brother's misinterpretation of scripture to be "false doctrine" unless he considers it essential to one's salvation, then in that case, he is adding to the Gospel, and is guilty of the same thing the antagonizers in Galatia were.

Can anyone help here?
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Not sure what brother your talking about because the false doctrines I mentioned were the people and religions that you named....those preaching salvation in Romans instead of Acts 2:38 are preaching false doctrine. We are saved by grace but judged by our works...thats another whole discussion.

An yet they still insist they are Apostolic.
You are right they claim to be Apostolic but they are not.

This is very accurate.

Re: What I have learned from AFF

Well apparently the appostle Paul did not have a good apperance in front of God he could not have after all the times they stoned him, threw him in jail, kicked him beat him he had to look pretty ragged.....So apparently apperence does not matter to God...

I do know Brother Cox and I have known his Dad for close to 30 years and His mother for over 4o years. They are very fine christain people. Brother Cox does know his bible, He is very respectful to his Elders and he has accused no one falsely.
