Exactly!! That is why I am really praying that this tv thing comes to nothing. You know that a church like this is going to get on for services and then all the world will see it and think that we are all like that. Now if we could guarantee that only sane preachers and churches would use tv then it would be different.

Have you seen this practice? Is this really necessary?

Also, the ladies in this church "carry" their hair over their arms when they walk around.

Now, call me different, but that's just a bit out there for me. What say ye?
Doesn't surprise me any... I've seen stick worship, dove worship, broken legs worshiped, ravens worshiped. And, yes... it's all to far out there. Jesus Christ and Him only will I worship.

The guy needs to be on TV for all to see just what the UPC allows and tolerates!

That just sounds way too goofy for me. I would thing that borders on the line of being quite disrespectful in the house of God. Thats just my opinion. They all run upfront and throw them?

This reminds me of the behavior of the faithful at Three Pines Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, LA. I have seen video clips of their services and the men don't throw their ties but the do cluster around the pulpit and "encourage" the preacher "vociferously"!

I've watched their services online in the distant past. I used to talk to a couple members of that church but I've lost contact now. Seems like a great church though.

LOL

And if the sermon went on too long--they should let the preacher know that the men would stop throwing ties and the women would start throwing shoes
