Cindy that is just way to simple logic for some folks. It's just easier to label folks because you think your judgment is God ordained. Well, labeling folks due to ones own preferences is not God ordained-

That doesn't make sense, RW. That would be asking the man who is offended by meat to EAT meat. You shouldn't ask someone to sin against their own conscience and convictions.
To them it is a sin to wear a ring, but is it a sin for you to remove yours? If it is, then you are both at an impasse, but if you can remove your ring in preference to your brother, then it's probably a good thing to do to avoid offense.

I say this merely as an example because we would never go to a church that taught things like that.
Quite a few years ago I quit wearing my wedding ring because I was afraid I might offend some preachers/people by wearing it. Several months later I put it on again. I don't know if anyone even noticed when I quit wearing it and when I started wearing it again. The only person who was offended was my wife. She was offended when I stopped wearing it.

My true thoughts on wedding rings came to surface when we decided to go on the TV show.
I thought it would be a greater chance at impropriety (or the appearance of it) to not wear one than to wear one - so I went and bought the one I had lost a few weeks after our wedding. Had it on ever since.
