Looking forward to putting up the tree and lights on Sunday.
I thought I would do it just after church.
Since the Green Bay Packers play Monday night.
Looking forward to Thanksgiving...
What do the lights represent since they were invented some 4500 years after these pagans?
Maybe it is wrong we created light and are acting as God.....

Brother, if a person wants to preach against something, anything, there is some obscure scripture reference SOMEWHERE in the Bible that they can interpret to back up their belief.
I just think it's ridiculous to try and preach against Christmas trees based on the scriptures you listed.
No offense, just my humble opinion.

Brother Phelps you don't have any scripture for the entire practice for xmas.
The celebration is made up of rituals from pagans dating past the first century AD. Baptized by the Eastern and Western Churches and adopted by certian Christians there after.
Brother Phelps I'm not offended, I don't do the Popish festival.

The IAMs are not putting up a Christmas tree either...........
This year we got TWO of em.....OH YEAH!!!!!!!!
Plus the Kids get one in each of their rooms......the house will be totally outlined in lights.....trees in the yard........
It is the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR..........
Oh yeah......to all you Christmas haters that use the letter X...........ROFL...........you might want to research that out.........in reality the X is a symbol for CHRIST.......you guys are a hoot........
