We are from California but now live in East Tennessee. We do all our hunting in the West since that's what we've been used to all our lives. These deer were taken in the Jackson Hole area.
To bad I am not up there, it would be good to drop in and say hi, we had James and Shurece with us last night.

I love the Jackson Hole area, just wouldn't want to live there.
We are going over there to go elk hunting Thanksgiving.
I enjoy bowhunting and special hunts but when push comes to shove, there is nothing that compares to the regular WI gun season.
The anticipation is building not only at the thought of a successful hunt but also at the thought of family and friends getting together and having an awesome time together for 9 straight days.
If the walls of our cabin could talk, there would be book quality stories told.
The madness called PREPARATION has been under way for awhile already but now its escalating and I'm about to go completely crazy trying to find time to get stuff done!!!!!!!!
But I love it! My dad, H.O. and her daughter will be arriving soon! And I can't wait!

My husband, for the last few years, has been skinning deer in a much easier way. He used to skin it with a filleting knife. Now, he ties a golf ball onto the partially skinned hide and ties it to his truck or ATV. He then drives forward. Voila! Skinned deer.

I have a place to hunt in Oklahoma. THe neighbor across the road from it told me one day that he stopped counting deer at 110 on a have section of rye. The only problem is, I don't hunt... : )
The heresy hunters are still with us. Only now, instead of stakes, they use their books and radio programs to destroy those they consider heretics.... I'm concerned that heresy hunting may be turning into leukemia because some cultwatchers seem more intent on destroying parts of the body than healing the body....
