Does McCain Know Something We Don't Know?

Why is Mac campaigning so rigorously in Pennsylvania since everyone is saying it is a lock for Obama? Could their internal polling suggest that PA is closer than the 11-12 points that everyone else is saying? Same for Minnesota. Mac is hitting Northern MN, the "Iron Range" and working the 2nd Amendment issues as well as that regions similarities to Alaska. Obama sent Hillary this week to campaign the Iron Range this week. If MN was such a lock, why is Mac making a play for it, and why is Obama sending HC to cover it?

I heard a rumor---I preface this with those four words---from an Assistant Pastor of a very large SB church in Fort Lauderdale who is an old high school friend. They have a member that is very involved in the leadership of the Mac campaign in FL. He told him that on Nov. 1 the mysterious Michelle Obama "whitey video" will be released nationally in an ad campaign as an eleventh hour A-bomb. Don't even know if that video exists, but if its true---hold on to your toupees!

Because as you well know, and Ann Coulter so impertinently pointed out, the polls are bogus until a day or two before the election and always err in favor of the democrat.

I sincerely hope that if either party employs any such tactics at the last hour in such a crucial election and time for our country, that it backfires and blows up in their face like so much of it has this election cycle.

If it's untrue, I understand what you are saying. However, if there is something out there that the public needs to be made aware of that is factual how can you really feel that way?

Speaking of the second amendment, I thought of the sign I've included in the attachment.

The sign did not come from my neighborhood. I am a Caucasian and a definite minority here. There are Obama signs all around. Some friends were up from Florida last week and one commented, "I've never seen so many Obama signs." My wife reminded her that this is an African American neighborhood.

If there is "explosive" tape of Palin out there saying or doing something that would strike many Americans the wrong way, I would not want to see it paraded out at the last minute. It strikes me as manipulative and calculated to prey on people's emotions at the last second before they make a very important decision. If there is any compelling video out there that is of the nature that the public "needs to be aware of it", then they should release it already...and that applies to either side.

I agree if that's the case.

Re: Does McCain Know Something We Don't Know?

The McCain team has, quite correctly IMO, decided they can't win the election without Pennsylvania.

The only true battleground states left now are FL, VA, OH, IN, MO, CO, and NV. Those 7 states will decide the election. McCain has to carry every one of those to win, and I think he will win, FL, OH, IN, and MO but the chances of him losing either VA, CO, or NV are very high right now. If he does lose even one of the final 7, then the only road to the White House has to include PA.

Rick Davis and McCain's team have decided PA is there win or lose state, and I think he's dead on.
