Is Missing Mulitple Services acceptable to you Pastors if it's Hunting Season?

I would say yes - if it is over a 1 - 2 week period. If you mean over 3 - 4 weeks I could see where it may be unadvisable.

I'd say it depends on which pastor you ask.
My pastor always says put God first, Family second, church third.
If you're hunting to provide food for the family..........

I'd almost bet there are some churches in the south that make exceptions and the whole church goes hunting - lol!

I was told at a local church in Indiana when hunting season comes the men are mighty scarce at church it's just the way it is....

I would think it's like there in several areas. Especially, like Tina said when they use the kill for winter food.

I know of several men in our church who get up and go hunting before church service on Sunday during hunting season... and probably go again when they get home from church as well.
For the first time in 20 years, my husband is talking about getting his hunting license again and going deer hunting...
