LOL! They are telling us that we need to make sure we have all projectile and loose objects out of our yards by this evening.

I asked my husband about a few things on the side of the garage. He said, "I didn't want them any way." LOL I'll fly away oh glory! LOL!

Dark cloud cover and the wind is picking up gradually as the day progresses. I'm waiting until I'm afraid to leave the dog outside. I'll bring in him, bath him and then try to get him to not bark at my husband.

I don't know if he likes him or is telling him to leave me alone. He said, "You don't want that dog acting like he's going to attack me."

I said, "Yes, I really do."

Hot and wind picking up a tad bit here but not much..

We arent supposed to get hit till 7 pm tomorrow night but already the stores here are out of all emergency supplies.. I made sure we had everything we needed but I forgot to go check my dads house... so I had to find him flashlights this morning just in case as he has my grandmother to take care of and that alone was a 4 hr trek... horrible.

Walmart over here was also almost out of water but they got more in as I got there thank God.

Really all we are expecting is about 60-80 mph winds and 24-48 power outages... we have plenty of charcoal and gas to cook and lights and generators and all that good jazz between us and my dad which is 5 blocks away.

I dont like the dark clouds and the winds picking up part-how about rain?

Does your dog bark cause it senses something? You know how dogs bark before an earthquake? IDK, it's probably not the same, but if I were a dog I would bark at the dark clouds!

Well, our lights are starting to flicker. I'm going to turn my computer off.

Check in later!

LOL! I keep him confined so that he doesn't bark at everything.

Back several years ago, we had a really bad tornado rip through Adamsville and my dog was acting very strange. He knew something was wrong before it hit.

Thank God for your dad he has you!(I do hope your grandma will be ok too) Well it sounds like if you have everything you need you will be ok. I just will be praying for you both-because how can anyone really know what will exactly happen when it comes to a storm?

I am so glad you all are keeping us posted.
