Completely agree with you there, PO. The effect of this pick on the 27% of Hillary voters that are undecided will be a non-factor,IMO.

I really believe that it could be so close that those 4.5 million voters may decide this election.

I'm very anxious to see how the polling comes out this weekend on both Palin and to see if McCain can knock out Obama's 6-8% bump out of the Dem convention.

Right, BUT Mike, you didn't comment on Sowell's article above.

I didn't read the article because I can't get through an entire Sowell's article. I did, however, read your quoted text.

His point is well made. The governor's who were elected had not dealt with foreign policy issues much and thus didn't have any experience in it. Some of those cases turned out very well, like Reagan and Clinton on foreign policy.

I'm not sure that the men before us have ever dealt with such a complex foreign policy agenda as the next President will face, but his point is well made.

You don't like Thomas Sowell? He's awesome!

You also have made a good point in your last sentence.

I have trouble with any of these party guys to be honest. I'm an Indepdent through and through. I NEVER vote based solely on a party or on just a handful of hot button issues. Guys like Allen Combes, Keith Olberman, Shawn Hannity and Rush Limbaugh make me wanna puke if I have to listen to them for extended periods of time. They constantly put "their" party above the good of the average American.

He's not perfect but I actually do respect someone like Bill O'Reilly who keeps all of them honest.

Thomas Sowell is my hero. He makes more sense than all of these Washington hacks who think they are smart.

I see what you are saying. I haven't viewed Sowell as a party liner or even political because of the books he's written about Economics.

Yes, O'Reilly does keep them pointed toward honesty. I don't always like O'Reilly 100% across the board. I was going to say why, but I deleted it. lol Just how he acts when he interviews some of the opposite sex.

I think Sowell may be older than McCain.
