Not true. Bill knows EXACTLY what he is on any given day. (It just could change between that day and the next)

I have close family and friends who would be under the label liberal... it doesn't affect our relationship as family and friends.
I don't agree with everything they do. They know that, they know why, we don't discuss it any further.
It just occurred to me that I have not thanked you for this honest response.
Thank you!
It is my desire that more conservatives be so without being caustic. It really is counterproductive IMHO to have the expectation that all must be like us OR ELSE...

As a conservative:
1. Do you feel anger or a rightous indignation when around those with a more liberal lifestyle? No
2. Do you feel extremely distracted or irritated when a women in slacks and earrings, or a man in shorts
worships God with you at church? No. I usually stand with my eyes closed.
3. Do you feel it is your duty to tell other other Christians they are wrong and you are right in lifestyle? No. I never have done that, and I don't plan on starting. I did have one lady ask me during choir practice about a certain type of clothing, and I responded by telling her maybe she should ask our pastor.
4. Are you content to show your more conservative lifestyle as appealing, or do you feel compelled to inform them they are mislead? I have not felt compelled to inform anyone that they have been mislead.
[COLOR="Red"] However I do feel compelled to go out into the highways and hedges and compell them to come in .....Luke 14:13.[/COLOR="Red"}
Excellent! Thank You for responding.

Hoove, I feel this from conservatives in principal, I haven't actually been around to hear any of what they say about my so called liberal lifestyle...whatever the sam hill that is.
2. Do you feel extremely distracted or irritated when a women in slacks and earrings, or a man in shorts

Interestingly enough women could care less if they see me in shorts it is the men who get indignant.
3. Do you feel it is your duty to tell other other Christians they are wrong and you are right in lifestyle?
If someone tells me my lifestyle is wrong, I will make a request to go and look in their closets being they feel so free to make kneejerk judgements just based on what they see...Again, I am not sure I understand the Lifestyle thing.
4. Are you content to show your more conservative lifestyle as appealing, or do you feel compelled to inform them they are mislead?
They do this all the time. I am amazed how they can dress in the longs in the stiffling summer heat.
Disclaimer: Concerning dress and adornment my family and I live quite conservatively - even by UPC standards. My wife and children have long hair (even uncut) and they do wear skirts rather than pants. We wear very little jewelry and my own ears aren't pierced etc... But we do not look down on others - niether in word or practice. We have had many discussions in our community about our modest dress (partly due to the TV show we were part of) but never with the attitude of superiority because of our choices.
Hoove, see my comments above from maybe a different point of view unless someone has already done this.

It is counterproductive to be caustic... I completely concur and like the alliteration too.

Obviously liberal "We are the World" drivel. I bet when you were young you just loved that old Coca Cola jingle "I'd like to teach the world to sing....."

Carp, perhaps it's a good thing that church folks get indignant with you when you don't measure up...
As you can see there are worse things...

You pegged me. I also, sang daily renditions of "It's a small world after all" while plowing with the mules.
