The REAL Reason CONS have left or rarely post

While there may be some, I don't see "libs" bashing "cons" over there standard issue per say. Yes there is some, there will always be bad apples in the bunch, no matter what place, area, group, culture you look in. Wheat and tares


When I DO see the behavior in Coffes end quote, It's when cons act as though those that don't believe as they do, aren't saved. For me personally, that's when it bothers me.

Now the way the end quote sounded was - he has a good attitude and may have got attacked or felt attacked.

What gets me is when the cons claim that "sending trinitarians to hell" is a core Apostolic doctrine! Our little group is the only one in the bride of Christ.

I am probably considered very Con....but I have learned with friends and family that don't believe like me, you don't have those discussions. My convictions and beliefs are mine...between me and God. I respect you for your beliefs and please respect me for mine. And if someone asks me why I stand the way I do....I will try not to be caustic, nor judgemental in my response. )

Around here it really isn't the belief that causes trouble. The trouble comes with how things are worded. For example, if someone says, "I believe a woman is in danger of judgment for cutting her hair," it would be viewed as much less confrontational much than, "Any woman who cuts her hair is headed straight for Hell." The same belief was expressed in both statements. One statement invites discussion while the other is an invitation to argue.

Bro. Tenney says that there are always two ways to say the same thing to get two very different results. For instance, if you say to your wife, "Honey, when I look at you, time stands still" your wife will be putty in your hands. But, if you say, "Woman, you have a face that will stop a clock!" there is a VERY different result!

yes, because they believe so passionately about their beliefs. I love people with passion....but be respectful, because it can be a sensitive subject. Believe me...I have to bite my tongue on here sometimes....I came from the world....and I want to say.."but..but".....So I just pray....let God work it all out. I think the young man's posts concerning the reputation of Bro. Lee Stoneking and Ruth Harvey and some others have been very much out of line.
I don't like it one little bit when someone's character or reputation is brought onto Question as has these two.
