This kinder, gentler, not bashing me because I'm connected to the UPC CC1 is FREAKIN' ME OUT!!!
Going, flipping the "light" switch while I'm at it. (OFF btw)
Edit... peeked in on the "would this man be allowed to preach? I don't really care but I just want to stir something up" thread...

No ASSUMING here. The bible states very plainly that the Holy Ghost WILL lead you into ALL TRUTH.ALL TRUTH includes water baptism in Jesus name and the Oneness of God, DOESN"T IT??????????
ALL truth is FAR more than godhead theology and NONE of us have ALL truth. He who says he does is a liar. We cannot force a time line on God to do it. Some assume that God does it as soon as a person repents.
God is still God, and we're not. He does exactly what He wants to do without consulting us about how we think about it. If folks are upset with God that more aren't getting the revelation....take it up with Him. I just want to get them to Jesus and surrendered. The rest is up to Him and I am not going to argue with Him over how He does that. He is responsible for results.

So, StMatthew, do you now have all truth, and are you the only one's who have this all truth?
Bill,
You just finished agreeing with me that water baptism was a principle doctrine. I made the statement that almost every denomination that teaches water baptism teaches it as something that is done very soon after one believes. This is the bible way that it was done. But I have you good 1-step men telling me that the Holy Ghost that leads folks into all truth never lead some that died trinitarian into a principle doctrine that is for new converts.
btw- I never claimed that I had all truth, but we did both agree that Jesus Name Baptism WAS TRUTH. And i am yielded to let the Holy Ghost continue to lead me on.

I have always been a big teddy bear. I sleep with a copy of the Pentecostal Herald on the bedstand.
I stand in awe of many UPC preachers for many reasons. For example;
Kenneth Haney - Exactly how does he keep his hair frozen in place that stiff?
Should receive a Presidential Medal of Honor for updating
PPH / Word Aflame publications from early 1960's fonts and
black and white photos to 20th century graphics.
Lee Stoneking - Uh......ah......well never mind. Can't go there.
Anthonly Mangun - Great leader. Needs to be more progressive. Plus now that
you got the TV resolution passed wheres the show?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

This is your thread....do you feel like you have a conclusion to your thoughts....and can you give us a summary of your findings.
Asking St. Mark to summarize his thoughts is like asking the National Enquirer to publish a summary of the past years issues.

No fear CC, I found you over on the other thread... it was just in time to save the trip to the window to look for flying pigs.
Hope that Herald doesn't give you papercuts on that massive head of yours.
