I just received my Chinese visa a short time ago and was stunned when they granted a Multiple Entry Visa for 12 mos! That is pretty amazing!
I was also informed that the Chinese Gov't has issued an "edict" banning all house/underground church activity, including Sunday services. This is a huge deal and could make it quite dangerous for us. However, I just found out that one of my fellow traveling partners is good friends with a Communist there and usually gets picked up in a Limo. Apparently, they have granted us permission to meet!!! This is incredible! God's favor is certainly being displayed.
Also, while on vacation last week, we met a man and his wife at the resort we were staying at (it was a Divine appt) who had questions about the house church movement in China. When he found out that I was going, he fought back tears. He was a scientist who works for the Navy in sonar research. He was so moved he told me that he was sending a check for the trip. I received the check today! I didn't even know his name.
God is absolutely amazing!!! I never ceased to be amazed over and over and over!!
Some of you will remember Bro. David Banta. We will be meeting him in China as we will be teaching together as well. He does most of his work in Korea and is the original connection for me ministering in Korea.
