And the choice to go kill him is still your's to make, correct?
Yes. With serious consequences from the government.
Which pro-choice advocates want to do away with should a mother CHOOSE to kill her unborn child.
But, most still want to keep the same consequences for killing born adults.
But, both are human lives. Where do we draw the line?

I challenge you to look at the number of states that have passed laws restricting abortion. It’s disingenuous to say nothing is being done. Partial birth abortion has been banned, and the ban upheld by a court that would not have while O'Connor was on the bench, so yes, it does make a difference.
Can you name a doctor that was prosecuted? Or are these measures merely cosmetic and not worth the paper they're written on?
Baron, when you look at the amount of legal abortions done in our country every single day just because the mother wants it (no medical issues ,etc...), I think it is disingenuous to pretends that all these Republican terms have made a real difference or will make a real difference.
At this point we cannot ban abortion because of the SC decision in Roe, we have done all kinds of things to restrict them. Waiting periods, setting limits on how late an abortion can be performed, banning partial birth abortion, parental notification laws, etc.
I have sat in the office of several of the U.S. Congressman that would ban it tomorrow if they could, and believe me none of them were Democrats.

Okay, you win, but only because I don't know any U.S Congressmen.
Seriously, I have to run. We shall meet again good sir.

Let's translate your thinking to another scenario.
I don't like my neighbor. His dog poops on my lawn. His trash blows into my yard. The government tells me I can't kill him. The government is not authorized or qualified to make that decision. The choice should be mine.
Make sense?
Let's go with a real scenero. Let's say your wife is pregnant and the doctors discover cancerous growth in your uterus. They say that the odds are good that she'll naturally miscarry. However, if she chooses to continue carrying the child until she miscarries she runs the risk of the cancer being too advanced to properly treat it. Out of the four doctors on staff in the consultation room two say that they advise she abort. Two say that there's a chance the cancer will remain localized and be treatable if she carries the child until it miscarries or is born. Also, the chances are good that if the child is born and survives, it will be severely deformed and mentally handicapped because the growth is eating up nutrients the child needs.
Your wife's life is at stake according to two doctors the other two argue that there's a good chance that the cancer will remain localized and be treatable after the baby is born. They are divided. Do you want the choice to abort to belong to you and your wife....or do you want the Government drawing the line as to if it's necessary or not? Your wife's life is on the line. Who chooses....the two of you or the Government?
yes we did, and in spite of finding evidence, people just keep saying they were never there, in spite of people from both parties saying they were, dt
Amazing how blind some folks are. Too many believe hook- line and sinker all the media spews out!

We have tons more evidence of Iran training and equipping Islamic terrorists than we ever had of any WMDs in Iraq. Instead of going after Iran, and its government that would be much tougher to topple, we picked Iraq. Lo and behold who is it that we end up fighting once we get into Iraq? You guessed it. Iranian trained and equipped terrorists. In my opinion, history will look back on this and the USA will be regarded as a cowardly nation for not going to source in its war on terror. How's that for a conspiracy theory?
You think Bush should have taken the cowardly way out that Clinton did when they bomb the "Cole" ship? I believe if we had retailated then we wouldn't have had the 9/11!

The truth of the matter is that our government knows it should have gone into Iran instead of Iraq, and they know our people aren't going to have the will to go into another country right now and start another war. They think the American people are so stupid that we can't see what's going on, so they now want to convince us that we will somehow lose a war against a man who is already dead and didn't have the weapons we thought he did. Talk about spin! The Bush administration is full of nothing but bold faced liars, including Bush himself.
Rico, it has been proven many times there were WMD! Stop believing everything the mass media spews out!
Not to mention all the murders and that Hassein and his group was doing. Shredding folks in shredders, you don't think that is sick?
