As to preaching standards where there is a great mix of churches, I would agree that specifics (ie. sleeve length, bad colors, etc.) and personal interpretation some not be preached, but an over all general holiness message is always in order.

Was anyone on here at the NAYC in Atlanta several years back where he preached the message where God told Moses to dictate where the mountain started and if anyone touched the mountain they would die? Basically he took a guard rail from the area and used it as where God 'allows your pastor to dictate where the mountains and fences start for standards'. I do not remember if he acutally said someone would die over it, but he implied that it was a heaven and hell issue. It was a message that about all 17k kids went nuts over. It was an ok message, but certainly a company message or a rally the troops type thing.
